About Pixelpool Design

Orlagh Finegan set up Pixelpool Design in 2006, but her story really began when she was handed a business card at her Production Design degree show in DLIADT, offering her a job at Display Contracts International. There she designed 3D visuals for exhibitions and trade shows and got the incredible opportunity to work on, and go to, the Irish Pavilion at the WORLD EXPO 2000 in Hanover, Germany. After a meeting in AVCOM (Ireland's largest AV Production company) the MD asked if she would like to join their graphics department! That day she fell in love with the events industry and spent the next few years exploring new skills, designing with 3D Studio Max and After Effects, creating logo loops, and event intros to blend into title slides, and of course, polishing the PowerPoint decks! She has worked with and learned from the Irish event industry's best talents and the worlds biggest brands, some of whom she's proud to call clients today.

Pixelpool is pure presentation design now. Orlagh loves working with a brand's assets, merging design and PowerPoint skills to craft innovative presentations. Orlagh is also a proud member of the Presentation Guild, and has been accredited a Certified Presentation Specialist by the Guild. She has a passion for lifelong learning and as a past alumni, gives presentation design masterclasses to the the UCD Innovation Academy, University College Dublin.
